Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since 11 November 1996. Her debut came in the Bond film, A View to a Kill in the year 1985. She starred in 1989 as Nazi-sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Donnevan is in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) are other roles. Doody began modelling after being offered by a professional photographer. This led to an enviable modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was extremely cautious about doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The same rule continued into her acting career. When she was spotted by the casting director for an upcoming James Bond movie, she was cast in A View to a Kill as Jenny Flex. Doody was a co-star in the year 1991 alongside Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was inspired by the publication fraud called the Hitler Diaries.
